First published in 1908, The Wind in the Willows is a classic of children’s literature. British author Kenneth Grahame completed a few other book-length works in his lifetime, but none had such an impact as The Wind in the Willows. It features several animal characters–Rat, Mole, Badger, and Mr. Toad–as well as numerous other characters in a panoply of stories that highlight their flaws, adventures, and friendships.
