$65.00
First published in 1908, The Wind in the Willows is a classic of children’s literature. British author Kenneth Grahame completed a few other book-length works in his lifetime, but none had such an impact as The Wind in the Willows. It features several animal characters–Rat, Mole, Badger, and Mr. Toad–as well as numerous other characters in a panoply of stories that highlight their flaws, adventures, and friendships. It remains beloved reading by children and families to this day. This collector’s edition pairs the text with Arthur Rackham’s superb illustrations. They are some of Rackham’s best.
This collector’s edition is in fine condition. In the original tan leather, finely gilt stamped. Raised bands. Gilt spine label. Text block fine. Gilt edges. Silk moire endpapers and bookmark sewn in.
A fine collector’s copy of The Wind in the Willows.
