James McNeill Whistler was an American painter, printmaker and etching artist during the Gilded Age. He was a whimsical and enigmatic artist, but one with a mastery of color and form. His paintings and etchings were some of the best from the period. In this set of prints, Whistler’s etchings are reproduced for subscribers of the Modern Masters of Etching series.
