Sir Frank Brangwyn was a Welsh artist whose paintings and prints were met with major acclaim in the early twentieth century. He produced thousands of exceptional works. He was frequently commissioned to produce murals and posters. He was also a prolific book illustrator. Yet his etchings rank high among his artistic achievements. They are noted for their complex scenes and rich details. In this set of prints, Brangwyn’s etchings are reproduced for subscribers of the Modern Masters of Etching series.
