Susan Sontag was one of the most respected arts critics and authors in the late-twentieth century. She wrote extensively on a number of subjects–from photography to literature to public health crises to the Vietnam War. Today her most celebrated work is probably The Way We Live Now, but it is just one example of her many incredible texts. This short story collection, I, Etcetera, is another notable work. It is Sontag’s first short story collection. It received critical praise upon publication in 1978. For any Sontag collector, it is an essential volume.
