Beloved poet Pamela McClure made lasting and critically praised contributions to 21st century American poetry. Her work has appeared in the American Literary Review, Poem, Shenandoah, the Watershed Anthology I, and many more. She was a professor in the Department of Humanities at Columbia College for many years and maintained a close connection to the artistry and literary communities of the Midwest. In Sweet Geometry, McClure provides 27 new poems of astounding quality. They are some of her best works. Accompanying the text are pen and ink drawings by Kim Van Someren, a master of printmaking and design who works at the University of Washington. This signed limited edition is also noteworthy for its fine craftsmanship and scarcity. Published by the Sutton Hoo Press, an exceptional private press operating in rural Minnesota, this volume represents the necessary skill and artistry of the centuries’ old craft of bookmaking brought into the 21st century.

This signed limited edition is in fine condition. It is one of roughly 200 copies total, and one of only about 100 copies on Somereset paper. It is printed from Perpetua types with full-page pen and ink drawings finely adorning the text. The book was bound in boards at the Campbell-Logan Bindery using patterned paste papers by Julie Leonard.

A fine signed limited edition by Pamela McClure, exceptionally scarce.
