$12.00

John James Audubon was a French-American naturalist and ornithologist who produced one of the most inspiring works of the early nineteenth century: Birds of America. It was a decades-long undertaking. Audubon travelled the continent, studying the animals and landscapes he discovered, and painting some of the best naturalist images ever produced. He published his work through a subscription that, when complete, represents one of the most sought-after volumes in book-collecting. This print offers a fine example of Audubon’s work. It is a frameable print of one of his classic paintings with commentary by naturalist Roger Tory Peterson.

This color print is in fine condition. It measures 12” x 9”. Front page shows Audubon painting. Back page shows Peterson’s commentary.

A fine vintage Audubon print suitable for framing.
