$40.00
Prolific Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw is arguably the second most influential dramatist in the western tradition, behind only Shakespeare. He produced an astounding number of exceptional plays in the early twentieth century. For his contributions, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1925. This volume contains three of his most celebrated plays: Man and Superman, Pygmalion, and Saint Joan. All three were extremely popular dramas in Shaw’s lifetime. They have been adapted to film and television over the decades. They are major highspots of twentieth century drama and remain important parts of Shaw’s canon.
