Sir David Young Cameron was a Scottish artist known for his landscape paintings and etchings. He garnered international acclaim for his etchings in the 1890s. Alongside landscapes, he also etched many urban scenes and towns. He became a major figure in the etching revival and remains one of the most celebrated etching artists of the era. In this set of prints, Cameron’s etchings are reproduced for subscribers of the Modern Masters of Etching series. The series was published in the 1920s and 30s.
