Robert Sargent Austin was a prominent British artist and engraver in the early twentieth century. He was a leading figure of the etching revival. He was a popular war artist during WWII. He also designed British currency. In this set of prints, Austin’s etchings are reproduced for subscribers of the Modern Masters of Etching series. The series was published in the 1920s and 30s. Each plate is tipped onto its original page. They are sold here as individual prints ready to be displayed. The available prints are:
