Patti LaBelle is an American R&B and Soul singer who has had an illustrious career since the 1960s. Her major hits, including “Lady Marmalade”, “On My Own”, and “Somebody Loves You Baby (You Know Who It Is)”, remain classics. She has won two Grammy Awards and been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. LaBelle has also appeared on numerous television shows, becoming a beloved personality through shows like Sesame Street, The Simpsons, and RuPaul’s Drag Race. In this volume, LaBelle shares another passion: cuisine. It contains dozens of recipes alongside paragraphs and photographs of LaBelle and her family and friends. The recipes are amenable to a diabetic diet as well. LaBelle herself has been an advocate for diabetes support and research, and this work showcases her advocacy on that health issue.

This first edition, first printing is inscribed by LaBelle on the title page. It is in very good condition. In the original laminate casing, very good with fading to top edges and bumping to corners. Text block fine. In the original dust jacket, about-fine with only bumping and rubbing to edges.

A very good inscribed first edition of Patti LaBelle’s Lite Cuisine.
