Luis Alberto Urrea is a celebrated Mexican-American author. He has published poetry, novels, nonfiction, and short stories that consistently receive high praise from critics and readers alike. In 2004, he was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in General Nonfiction for his account of a coyote border crossing in The Devil’s Highway.
