Mike Ditka, otherwise known as Iron Mike, was a hall-of-fame NFL player and coach who remains one of football’s most recognizable figures. He played tight end for the Chicago Bears, Philadelphia Eagles, and Dallas Cowboys. He was the first tight end to ever be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame. After his illustrious playing career, Ditka went on to coach––first as an assistant coach for the Cowboys, then as head coach for the Chicago Bears.
