Douglas Adams was a British author and humorist best known for The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. The work was initially developed as a radio broadcast in 1978. Following the popularity of the broadcast, Adams reimagined the work as a series of novels which quickly became bestsellers and garnered a loyal readership across the globe. This volume, So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish, is the fourth installment. It is markedly different from the other books in terms of style and subject matter. While it maintains its humor and science fiction elements, the work also includes romance and more earthly concerns. It remains a favorite among Adams’ readers.
